Bedrock Wells

We Drill Bedrock Wells On Properties All Over New Hampshire and Maine

A bedrock well is a hole drilled into the ground with the top part lined with steel casing to prevent collapse of the well walls. Beneath the casing, water is able to enter the well and is tested for yield. The yield test is for new wells to see if the water being removed is being sufficiently refilled. In New Hampshire, the average bedrock well is between 100 feet and 500 feet deep. However, we can drill as deep as 1,000 feet!

During the bedrock well drilling process, we install a pipe (casing) in the bedrock to access the water. Another purpose of the casing is to prevent any harmful contaminants from entering the water. We use a pump to transport the water to the surface and into your home for an ample supply of water.

We Make Sure You Have an Adequate Water Supply When Drilling Your Bedrock Well

Drilling a bedrock well takes a few days to complete, along with the pump installation. To ensure your home has a constant, ample supply of water, we monitor the water flow. Bedrock wells are a great source of fresh, clean water on your property. We serve clients in Brunswick, Scarborough, Naples, Hollis, Berwick, & Wells, ME as well as Alton, Ossipee & Rochester, NH.
